Ball Feed Clinics

A weekly email process will be used for the Drills and Ball Feed clinic. Look for a message in your Inbox on Friday mornings, and respond accordingly. This is a great opportunity to work on your strokes, and develop consistency in your game.

Mobile Cart and Balls

We’ve purchased a mobile tennis ball cart, with a couple of ball hoppers for retrieval. We’re asking tennis players to deposit their used balls into the ball cart once they’re finished playing (storage room). This will ensure a nice supply of decent balls for practice purposes.

Ball Machine

The PTPC owns a ball machine that will be made available to members upon request during the 2022 season. It will be located in the storeroom, where it must be kept plugged into a power source. Please contact: John DiPangrazio.

TUTOR Spin Pickleball Machine

A member of our club has graciously purchased the “Pickleball Tutor” machine that was previously owned by Ron & Jan Gooding, and donated it back to the Club. Any member can now have easy access to the machine (located in our club’s storage room) for skills improvement purposes. The machine is a bit complicated, so introductory training is a prerequisite for use. There are three opportunities for members to attend a short session conducted by Ron (July 18, 19 or 20 at 10:00 AM). Trained members can then, in turn, instruct others. Contact: gooding519@gmail.com.

Guest Privileges

Non-members who wish to explore membership can request approval for limited participation in our organized play. This is subject to availability. For approved guests, a daily guest fee of $10 would apply. Any other non-member participation must be accompanied by a member. Feel free to contact us at: PentwaterTennisClub@gmail.com.

Members can extend guest privileges to friends for a daily fee of $10 (limited to 10 occurences per season). Immediate family members (brothers, sisters, adult children) will be charged at $5 per day with the same limit of 10 occurences.

Guest fees payments can be sent to the Club via PayPal by using this link (or sent to our mailing address USPS).

Alternatively, the Club Treasurer can invoice the inviting member at the end of the season

Walk Up Play

Organized play and scheduled events always take priority. Outside of those scheduled times, walk up tennis and pickleball play is available to members and their guests on a first come, first served basis (no sign-up required).

If all pickleball courts are in use with players waiting, paddle box stacking will be used to determine next group in the rotation. Players are encouraged to mix partners and opponents, be welcoming and make reasonable efforts to include others. Players are expected to exit the court after a single match to 11, win by 2.

Courts must be locked when leaving, and any trash should be removed, or deposited in the receptacle located courtside.
